EXO-PLANET TRANSITS

Detecting a planet orbiting a distant star was the "holy grail" of astronomy for more than a century.
Now most any skilled amateur astronomer can detect and measure a planet as it transits across the face of its parent star.

The exo-planet transit data below, obtained at the Elgin Observatory,
have been (kindly and skillfully) processed and plotted by Bruce Gary of AXA
Check his link for information on transit observing.
